August Pearson is an attorney in the San Diego office. Pearson represents employers in litigation involving trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, wage and hour disputes, and class and representative actions brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Pearson also advises clients on navigating California’s complex and evolving labor and employment laws to help ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Pearson received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Pearson clerked for several California defense litigation firms and contributed to the Women’s Legal Clinic at the University of San Diego, where she provided pro bono services to underserved members of the community.
