About James
As California employment law grows in complexity and breeds seemingly endless litigation, CDF associate James L. Harvey takes pride in aggressively defending employers.
Harvey has represented employers, including non-profit corporations, against plaintiffs alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, as well as wage-and-hour violations under the Private Attorneys General Act.
Additionally, Harvey has guided employers through California Civil Rights Department investigations and assisted employers with investigating and resolving internal personnel disputes.
When he’s not defending employers, Harvey counsels employers through potential liabilities arising under their Commercial General Liability and Directors and Officers liability insurance policies.
