Karina Vals defends employers in litigation matters involving wage and hour class and representative actions brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), wrongful termination and discrimination. Karina represents business in various stages of litigation phases, including pre-litigation, complex discovery, and law and motion, as well as claims brought before the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), California Civil Rights Department (CRD), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).

Karina also advises clients on best practices, policies and procedures, and compliance with wage and hour to prevent and mitigate litigation.
