Wanja Guy has handled a broad range of labor and employment litigation matters under state and federal laws. She routinely handles the full range of single-plaintiff claims, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, unfair competition, defamation, and other matters.
Guy has successfully represented clients, in all California state and federal jurisdictions, in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and trials. She has broad experience, working with clients of all sizes and in various industries, including education, entertainment, web-based startups, healthcare, service industries, and manufacturing. She also has extensive experience conducting investigations of sensitive matters for high-profile and complex private workplaces, religious organizations, and public institutions.
Additionally, Guy regularly advises clients on employment-related issues prior to litigation. This includes employee counseling and terminations, accommodations, and other disability-related advice, reviewing and advising on the full range of employment policies, practices, and agreements, and conducting workplace audits or climate assessments when needed.
